Most Google Fi phones are locked for 120 days after purchase to prevent fraud. Here's how to unlock them for use on other carriers.
• Active for 120 days on Fi
• Account in good standing
• Device not reported lost or stolen
• All device payments completed (if financed)
After 120 days, your device unlocks automatically.
If not automatically unlocked, contact Google Fi Support → Chat → Unlock Request.
You'll receive confirmation within 24 hours.
• Insert different carrier SIM: Try a SIM from another carrier to test.
• Check device settings: Look for "Network unlock" status in settings.
• Contact Fi support: They can confirm your device's unlock status.
• Use online tools: Some carriers offer unlock status checkers.
