Whether you're leaving Google Fi or switching to a new carrier, follow these steps to close your account correctly and avoid unexpected charges.
Don't cancel first — your account will automatically close once the port completes.
Follow the cancellation steps below to properly close your account.
Go to fi.google.com/account and sign in.
Select Manage Plan → Cancel Service.
Confirm billing cycle and final invoice details.
Follow the prompts to finalize your account closure.
• Final charges will appear in Google Payments.
• Your number is recycled after 60 days if not ported.
• You can reactivate within 60 days if needed.
• Download any important data before canceling.
