Do NOT manually cancel. Your Cricket service automatically closes once the number ports.
Follow the cancellation steps below to properly close your account.
Turn off Auto Pay in the Cricket app.
Stop paying — the line will suspend and expire.
⚠️ No refunds: Prepaid balance is nonrefundable.
⚠️ Number recycling: Your number may be recycled in 30–60 days if not ported.
⚠️ Keep your number: Port out before canceling if you want to keep your number.
⚠️ Data backup: Save voicemails and messages before canceling.
