Hushed App Setup & VoIP Troubleshooting

Fix Hushed app activation issues, audio problems, registration errors, and VoIP quality issues.

Fix Steps

Log Out and Log Back In

Refresh your account connection by signing out and back in.

Disable Battery Optimization (Android)

Go to Settings → Apps → Hushed → Battery → Don't optimize.

Enable Background App Refresh (iOS)

Settings → General → Background App Refresh → Enable for Hushed.

Check Firewall/VPN Restrictions

Disable VPNs and ensure firewall allows VoIP traffic.

Reinstall the Hushed App

Delete and reinstall the app if other fixes don't work.

Audio Quality Issues

Check These Settings

  • Microphone permissions enabled
  • Speaker/headphone volume
  • Network connection quality

Network Requirements

  • Minimum 64 kbps upload/download
  • Low latency connection
  • Stable WiFi or 4G/5G
