Dial *PORT (or *7678) and follow instructions
Go to myAT&T > Profile > People & Permissions > Transfer Phone Number (for accounts with multiple lines)
After verification you'll receive a text with the 6-digit PIN
The PIN is valid only for a short window—often 4–7 days. Use it before it expires
Try generating it again via *PORT, or contact AT&T support for manual assist.
